A vehicle was totaled after it hit a deer Wednesday evening, according to the Stutsman County Sheriff's Office.
Patricia Beil, 67, Valley City, was driving a 1995 Buick on Interstate 94 to Jamestown from Valley City around 6:35 p.m. She observed a deer entering the road, but was unable to take evasive action, deputies said. The Buick struck the deer.
Beil was wearing a seat belt, deputies said.
The deer was killed.
No citations were issued.
