FARGO, N.D. (AP) -- Stormy, wet weather over the past week is raising concerns on North Dakota farms.
The Agriculture Department says in its weekly crop and weather report that strong winds and significant rainfall have made haying and weed spraying difficult, and small grains crops are behind in development and showing signs of disease in some areas.
The report says the crops need warm, sunny weather to rebound.
Hay conditions in North Dakota are still rated 90 percent good to excellent, and pasture and range conditions are 83 percent in those categories.
