Travel ban lifted
The North Dakota Department of Transportation and North Dakota Highway Patrol have lifted the no travel advisory for the remainder of the state, according to an 11 a.m. announcement.
The areas included in the change include Jamestown, Valley City, Edgeley, Oakes and surrounding areas. Continued wet and slushy road conditions are keeping a travel alert in effect for areas in eastern North Dakota including Jamestown, Valley City, Ellendale, Cooperstown, Grand Forks, Grafton, Cavalier, Drayton and surrounding areas.
Under a travel alert motorists can travel in these areas but are advised that rapidly changing conditions require reducing speed and driving according to the conditions. For road information, call 511 or visit www.dot.nd.gov.
