Jamestown receives 4 inches new snow
The Jamestown area received 4 inches of new snow overnight, according to measurements taken at the North Dakota State Hospital.
A Travel Alert is in effect for southeastern North Dakota including the Jamestown, Valley City, Fargo and Wahpeton areas.
Interstate 94 from Dickinson to the Montana line had been closed overnight but was opened at 7 a.m. Monday. Previous no travel advisories in western and northwestern North Dakota have been reduced to travel alerts.
The National Weather Service is forecasting a blustery day with cold temperatures and blowing snow throughout the day. There is a possibility of up to a half inch of new snow accumulation today, tonight and Tuesday.
