3 inches of snow reported

The Jamestown area is dealing with 3 inches of new snow this morning, according to measurements taken at the State Hospital heating plant.

The National Weather Service forecast calls for another 1 to 2 inches of snow to accumulate today before the system clears out of the area tonight.

A no travel advisory remains in place for southeastern North Dakota. Interstate 94 is closed from Jamestown to Fargo and all of Interstate 29 in North Dakota is closed due to the weather conditions.
