Jamestown and much of Stutsman County remain in a severe thunderstorm watch until 8 p.m., Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

Scanner traffic indicates power outages in northeast Jamestown. The Jamestown Fire Department responded to a report of a tree on fire from a power line but no fire was found.

The storm that passed through Jamestown included heavy rain, wind that downed trees in some areas and some hail. Details from the storm are not available as of 5:20 pm.
