WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) -- A 1-cent city sales tax for the Williston park district failed by 31 votes at a special election last month.

The Williston Herald reports that the city's Park Board will put the measure before voters again this November.

Park Board members say this time around, they'll provide a detailed plan about how the money would be spent.

Park Board Commissioner Ken Callahan says the measure likely would have passed overwhelmingly last month had the board done that in the first place.
