WILLISTON, N.D. - A Milwaukee woman has been charged with felony human trafficking and conspiracy to commit theft of property.
Both felony offenses carry a maximum of 20 years in prison if Rasheda Ross, 37, is convicted in Northwest District Court.
The charges were filed in Williams County.
According to the human trafficking case complaint, Ross “benefited financially from knowing participation in sex trafficking and/or promoted, recruited, harbored or transported one or more persons, knowing they would be subject to sex trafficking.” The theft complaint alleges Ross conspired to steal more than $50,000 in cash.
Ross is out of custody on an appearance bond, and is scheduled to be arraigned July 30.
