WOODBURY, Minn. - An 86-year-old man died Tuesday evening one day after he was struck by a vehicle while trying to cross a street here about 8 a.m. Monday.
After he was hit he was transported to Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Woodbury police said.
The adult female driver of the car was not injured.
Police said it does not appear alcohol or speeding were factors in the incident. The accident happened at an uncontrolled intersection.
Authorities were giving out no further information.
