WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) -- Authorities have identified a worker who was killed in western North Dakota's oil patch last week.
The Highway Patrol said 40-year-old Eugene Norris Jr. was killed Thursday night at an oil well 10 miles south of Williston. He was outside of his truck, filling a tank with water, when he was struck and killed by another truck.
The Williston Herald reported that Norris originally was from Illinois. He had been living in Dickinson.
