1 new positive coronavirus test reported in Stutsman County Tuesday

Local information from the North Dakota Department of Health coronavirus report for Tuesday, March 23, 2021, includes one new positive test from Stutsman County.

The North Dakota Department of Health announced one new positive test for the coronavirus in Stutsman County Tuesday. Positive tests in surrounding counties include six positive tests in Dickey County and one each in Barnes and LaMoure counties.

Across North Dakota, 165 positive tests were reported from 4,727 tests processed for a 4.7% daily positivity rate.

In North Dakota, there are currently 745 active cases with 19 people currently hospitalized. In Stutsman County, there are currently 10 active cases.

The department announced the deaths of a woman in her 50s from Morton County and a man in his 70s from Williams County. The deaths raise the North Dakota total to 1,463 people since the start of the pandemic.
