Stutsman County has 14 new cases of coronavirus, according to information released Thursday, Dec. 31, from the North Dakota Department of Health. Stutsman County has 114 active positive cases; there are 1,889 active positive cases in North Dakota. The state's daily positivity rate is 3.86%.
The North Dakota Department of Health also reported the state had 10 deaths related to COVID-19, including three women and seven men ranging in age from their 50s to 90s. Two deaths were reported in Cass County and one each in Burleigh, Grand Forks, Hettinger, McKenzie, Morton, Ramsey, Stark and Williams counties.
There have been 1,292 deaths in the state related to COVID-19 since the pandemic began.
Other counties in the Jamestown region reporting cases were Barnes, nine; LaMoure, four; Dickey, three; and Logan, two.
