3 deaths, 39 coronavirus cases reported Sunday in Stutsman County

Stutsman County has 39 new cases of coronavirus and three deaths were reported, according to information released Sunday, Nov. 8. from the North Dakota Department of Health. Stutsman County now has 405 active positive cases.

The deaths reported in Stutsman County were two women in their 90s and a man in his 80s.

The county's 14-day rolling positivity rate is 12.03%.

The state reported a total of 1,111 new coronavirus cases Sunday. There are 10,563 active positive cases in the state.

The North Dakota Department of Health also reported the state had a total of 11 new deaths related to COVID-19. In addition to the three deaths reported in Stutsman County, deaths were also reported in people ranging from their 50s to their 90s in Cass County (four), Ward County (two), Trail County (one) and Williams County (one).

There have been 639 deaths in the state related to COVID-19 since the pandemic began.

Other counties in the Jamestown region reporting cases were Wells, 16; Barnes, 15; Dickey, seven; LaMoure, six; Kidder, three; Foster and Griggs, two each; Eddy, Logan and McIntosh, one each.
