3 deaths, seven new coronavirus cases reported in Stutsman County

Stutsman County has had 49 deaths related to COVID-19 since the pandemic began.

Stutsman County seven new cases of coronavirus and three deaths were reported, according to information released Sunday, Dec. 6, from the North Dakota Department of Health.

The three deaths in Stutsman County were among six reported in the state and were a man in his 60s and two women, one in her 70s and one in her 80s. Stutsman County has had a total of 49 deaths related to COVID-19, the health department reported.

The other deaths reported in the state were a man in his 90s from Burleigh County, a woman in her 70s from Cavalier County and a man in his 50s from Grant County.

There have been 1,013 deaths in the state related to COVID-19 since the pandemic began.

Other counties in the Jamestown region reporting cases were Barnes, 15; Logan, seven; Wells, three; Dickey and Grant, two each; and Foster, Griggs, Kidder and LaMoure, one each.

There were 474 new COVID-19 cases reported in the state Sunday; the state has 4,969 total active positive cases. The state's daily positivity rate is 6.86%; Stutsman County's is 2.67%.
