5 new positive cases reported in Stutsman County Friday

Local statistics from the North Dakota Department of Health show five new cases of COVID-19 in Stutsman County on April 16, 2021.

The North Dakota Department of Health reported five new positive tests for the coronavirus in Stutsman County Friday. The active case count in Stutsman County currently stands at 42.

Across North Dakota, 179 positive tests were reported. Area counties with positive tests included one each in Foster and LaMoure counties. Cass County reported the most positive tests with 63.

The department reported the deaths of a man in his 70s from Burleigh County, a woman in her 70s from Cass County and a man in his 90s from Mercer County. The three deaths raise the statewide deaths to 1,478 people since the start of the pandemic.
