Stutsman County has six new cases of coronavirus, according to information released Friday, April 30, from the North Dakota Department of Health. There are 42 active cases of COVID-19 in the county.
The North Dakota Department of Health also reported the state had one death related to COVID-19, a woman in her 70s from Cass County. There have been 1,492 deaths in the state related to COVID-19 since the pandemic began.
Other counties in the Jamestown region reporting cases were Barnes, LaMoure and Wells, two each, and Dickey, Eddy, Griggs and Ransom, with one case each. The state reported a total of 175 new cases.
The state's daily positivity rate is 4.18% and there are a total of 1,104 active cases of COVID-19 in the state.
