8 new coronavirus cases reported Friday in Stutsman County

Local information from the April 9, 2021, coronavirus report from the North Dakota Department of Health indicates eight new cases in Stutsman County.

The North Dakota Department of Health reported eight positive tests for the coronavirus Friday in Stutsman County. There was one positive test reported in Barnes County.

Across North Dakota, 125 positive results were reported from 4,867 tests processed for a 3.6% daily positivity rate. Cass County reported 29 positive tests with 23 in Grand Forks County and 15 in Burleigh County.

The deaths of a man in his 70s from Ward County and a woman in her 60s from Renville County raised the death toll in North Dakota to 1,470 people since the start of the pandemic.

There are currently 1,183 active cases in North Dakota with 37 people hospitalized. There are 38 active cases in Stutsman County.
