Two positive tests for COVID-19 were reported in Stutsman County and six in neighboring counties Wednesday by the North Dakota Department of Health.
The eight positive tests were among 40 reported in North Dakota with 28 of those reported in Cass County.
Stutsman County’s two positive tests bring the total in the county to 51. LaMoure County has now reported six positive tests with two positive tests in Kidder County since the start of the pandemic in March.
The death of a woman from Cass County in her 80s with underlying health conditions was also reported bringing the death total to 73 in North Dakota.
