Stutsman County has 87 new cases of coronavirus, according to information released Sunday, Nov. 22, from the North Dakota Department of Health. The state reported a total of 1,150 new cases Sunday.
There are 450 active positive cases of COVID-19 in Stutsman County.
The North Dakota Department of Health also reported the state had six deaths related to COVID-19: a woman in her 70s from Barnes County, a man in his 80s from each of Cass, Dickey, Kidder and Sargent counties, and a man in his 70s from Foster County. There have been 840 deaths in the state related to COVID-19 since the pandemic began including 39 in Stutsman County.
Other counties in the Jamestown region reporting new cases were Foster, 21; Griggs, 13; Barnes, 11; Dickey, 10; LaMoure, seven; Kidder, five; Eddy, four; Logan and Wells, two each; and McIntosh, one.
The state's daily positivity rate is 11.55%; Stutsman County's is 13.08%.
