The North Dakota Department of Health reported five new positive tests for the coronavirus in Stutsman County Tuesday.

The positive tests were part of 248 positive tests reported around North Dakota. Area counties with positive tests included two reported in Barnes and Foster counties, three in LaMoure County and one in Wells County.

The department reported the deaths of three women in North Dakota including one in her 70s in Williams County, one in her 80s in Burleigh County and one in her 90s in Grand Forks County.

The three deaths increase the total deaths reported in North Dakota to 1,355 people since the start of the pandemic in March.
