Stutsman County has six new cases of coronavirus and one death was reported, according to information released Wednesday, Jan. 13, from the North Dakota Department of Health. The death, a woman in her 60s, was one of two deaths reported in the state Wednesday. The other death occurred in a woman in her 50s from Rolette County.
Stutsman County has had a total of 72 deaths and the state has reported 1,357 total deaths related to COVID-19 since the pandemic began.
Stutsman County and the state reported a decline in active cases, with 45 in the county and 1,749 in the state. The state's daily positivity rate is 3.33%.
Other counties in the Jamestown region reporting new cases were Dickey and Wells, two each, and Foster, Griggs and McIntosh, one each.
