Stutsman County has five new cases of coronavirus and there are 46 total active cases in the county, according to the North Dakota Department of Health.
The health department also reported Thursday the state had eight deaths related to COVID-19, two women and six men ranging in age from their 60s to their 90s. Two deaths occurred in each of Cass and Ward counties and one death occurred in Burleigh, Emmons, Pembina and Sargeant counties.
There have been 1,365 deaths in the state related to COVID-19 since the pandemic began including 72 deaths in Stutsman County.
Other counties in the Jamestown region reporting cases were Barnes, two, and Dickey and Eddy counties, one. The state's daily positivity rate is 3.00% and there are 1,764 total active cases including 284 cases reported Thursday.
