BISMARCK — Following are the North Dakota Department of Health COVID-19 case rates, deaths, hospitalizations and vaccinations as of Monday, May 10. Because all data is preliminary, some numbers and totals may change from one day to the next.

Statewide case rates

  • NEW CASES: 45
  • TOTAL ACTIVE CASES: 818
  • TOTAL CASES: 108,526
  • TOTAL RECOVERED: 106,209
  • DAILY TEST POSITIVITY RATE: 7.48%

The North Dakota Department of Health on Monday reported 45 additional positive COVID-19 cases, of which 14 came from Burleigh County and six from Cass County. The number of active cases has slightly declined since the beginning of May with the rolling 14-day positivity rate at 4.23%

The Department of Health reported no new COVID-19 deaths on Monday.

Vaccinations

  • FIRST DOSE ADMINISTERED: 282,193 (47.3% of population)

  • COMPLETED SERIES (TWO DOSES): 255,700 (42.8% of population)

A total of 561,108 shots have been administered to North Dakotans. The Department of Health urges residents to seek more information at www.health.nd.gov/covidvaccinelocator.
