Stutsman County has 18 new cases of coronavirus

Stutsman County has 18 new cases of coronavirus, according to information released Sunday, Oct. 26, from the North Dakota Department of Health. The county has 128 active positive cases.

The North Dakota Department of Health also reported the state had eight deaths related to COVID-19: a woman in her 90s from Burleigh County, a man in his 60s from Mountrail County, two men in their 80s, one from Ward and one from Williams counties, and three people from Towner County, a man in his 60s, a woman in her 60s and woman in her 80s.

There have been 456 deaths in the state related to COVID-19 since the pandemic began.

Other counties in the Jamestown region reporting cases Sunday were Foster, eight (45 active positives); LaMoure, six (52 active positives); Barnes, five (55 active positives); Dickey and Griggs, four each (Dickey 59 active positives, Griggs 19 active positives); Eddy, three (33 active positives); Wells, two (46 active positives); and Kidder and Logan, one each (Kidder 20 active positives, Logan 18 active positives).

The state has 6,506 total active cases; a total of 196 new cases were reported in the state Sunday.
