Sayler allowed just one goal on six shots. Through three games, the Jimmies (3-0) have allowed just one goal.

Fargerlund signs with Jimmies

Brita Fagerlund of Crookston, Minn., has signed with the University of Jamestown women's track and field team.

Fagerlund will compete in the throwing events. She also earned a music scholarship to UJ. In high school, she competed in soccer and basketball. Academically, she earned all-state honors from 2014-17.

"Brita had a strong finish in her senior season of track and field, particularly in the discus," UJ associate head coach Jim Clark said. "It is remarkable how many school, community and church activities Brita has not just been a part of, but has assumed leadership roles in. She will be a great fit as a Jimmie."

The daughter of Dwain and Kirsten Fagerlund, she plans to study exercise science and minor in graphic arts.
