Man who was tased at Sioux Falls motel dies
SIOUX FALLS -- A man who was tased by Sioux Falls police last week in a motel disturbance has died in a city hospital.
Joshua Jay Langley died Saturday morning, and police said an autopsy would be performed on Tuesday, Oct. 30.
In the incident last Wednesday, police were called to the Motel 6 on the northwest side of town as management wanted a man removed for causing a disturbance inside his room.
Langley, said police, refused to listen officers and was tased and then handcuffed. After an ambulance arrived, Langley became unresponsive and stopped breathing, said police, but paramedics were able to regain a pulse and he was taken to a hospital.
Meth was found in his room. He was facing four charges.
