Ross Bergquist, 37, Jamestown, North Dakota died in a tragic accident, Tuesday morning, September 20, 2022 as he was starting his UPS route for the day.

William “Bill” Alva Hallock passed away on August 3, 2022 at the age of 83. He is survived in this life by his wife of 63 years, Elrose Marie Hallock, three of his adult children Alan (Linda), Victoria, Karla (Dr. Barry) Merriman. Seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren as well as his sister Dixie and five brothers Dugan, Murphy, Robyn, Barry and Timmy, along with several nieces and nephews.

Bruce Beyer age 76 of Bothell, Washington formerly of Jamestown passed away on August 23, 2022 after a battle with head and neck cancer. Cremation has taken place. Bruce Charles Beyer was born on December 27, 1945 in Jamestown the son of Harold and Memrey (Sinclair) Beyer. He was baptized and confirmed in St. John’s Lutheran Church and educated in Jamestown Public Schools graduating in 1964. Bruce worked at various jobs in the Jamestown area. He then enlisted in the United States Air Force. Following basic and advanced training in Texas Bruce was deployed to Vietnam. He was trained in servicing the gunship known as “Puff The Magic Dragon”. He earned numerous campaign medals and ribbons. After his discharge from the service Bruce moved to the Seattle area. He was employed by Northwest Airlines. He then joined Sam Wylde Flour Company as a truck driver retiring in 2002. Bruce and his wife Cheryl were very proud of their home and always kept their lawn and flowers in immaculate condition. Bruce is survived by his wife Cheryl, daughters Kathy and Michelle, brothers Mike, Mark and Tim, and sisters Merilee, Mary and Karen. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Jeanette. A Celebration of Life will be held at Bruce and Cheryl’s home on November 12, 2022.
Velma Pope, 79, Jamestown, ND died Friday, November 5, 2021 at the Aneta Parkview Health Center in Aneta.
Walter “Wally” Schulz, 91, entered eternal rest September 5, 2022 at Saint Cloud Hospital, Saint Cloud, MN following an ongoing battle with Alzheimer’s. Wally was born at Woodworth, ND March 29, 1931 to Albert and Wanda (Goter) Schulz. He was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church, New Home, Stutsman County North Dakota. Wally attended Lowry Township schools and worked on the family farm. He enlisted in the United States Army in January, 1954 and served in Battery A 52nd Field Artillery Brigade in Korea. He was honorably discharged in November, 1955.
Barbara Enger, 76, of Jamestown, ND passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at her home in Jamestown. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Bilden-Askew Funeral Home in Northwood, ND. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Memorials are preferred to the Goose River Cemetery, 1593 143rd Ave NE, Hatton, ND 58240.

Richard Otto, 86, Carrington, formerly of Bowdon passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Golden Acres Manor, Carrington. Funeral Services will be at 10 am Monday, September 12, 2022 at Bowdon Lutheran Church, Bowdon. Pastor Shirley Teske will officiate and burial will be in Bethany Cemetery, Robinson, North Dakota. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Sunday with a prayer service at 7 pm at Nelson Funeral Home, Fessenden, North Dakota.
Angela Jacobson, 53, Jamestown, ND died Sunday September 11, 2022 at the Jamestown Regional Medical Center.
