David Mulfinger

David H. Mulfinger, 92, of Jamestown, ND, passed away Friday morning, October 16, 2020 at Sanford on Broadway, Fargo, ND.

David was born January 23, 1928, on a farm south of Cleveland, ND, the son of Jacob and Elizabeth (Burow) Mulfinger. He attended schools in the Cleveland area and enlisted in the US Navy in 1946. David served in the Pacific area and was honorably discharged in 1948. He returned to the farm in Stirton Township and farmed from 1948 to 1976. On September 30, 1950, David and Mary A. Cegla were united in marriage at Royalton, MN. They moved to Jamestown in 1976 where he worked for Farmers Union Insurance as a crop adjuster until he retired.

David served as a township supervisor for 9 years and on the Cleveland Elevator Board for 6 years. He was also a member of the B.P.O.E #995.

David is survived by his wife, Mary Mulfinger.

He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son; sisters, Elizabeth Fairfield, Lillian Neukircher, and Lucille Silzly; and brothers, Henry, William, and an infant brother.

Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 26, 2020 at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown with Pastor Bryce Tahran officiating.

Visitation: One hour before the funeral.

Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown.
