Dennis Berg

Dennis Berg, 75, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021, at his home in Pensacola, FL after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Dickinson, ND on March 22, 1946. He is preceded in death by his mom, Marian (Oley) Johnson, his brother, Sylvan (Susan) Berg, and his dad, Wilber Berg. Dennis retired from Gulf Power Crist Plant as a Maintenance Supervisor after serving his country in the Air Force.

Dennis enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved his family and his 7 cats that were like his children! He absolutely loved playing golf every chance he could get. He liked watching westerns and Jeopardy on television. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife, Vanessa Berg; his mother-in-law, G. Dale Peake and her two sisters, Betty Brown and Doris Miniard, and her two brothers Kenneth (Sue) Salter and Donald (Mary) Salter & all of their families; his sister, Rena (John) Lang & family of Gilbert AZ; his uncle Maynard (Carole) Feist & family; two daughters Melissa Starkey of Pace, FL and Lorretta (Billy) Seals of Jay, FL; his grandchildren Valerie (James) Sikes; Samantha Seals; Dalton Hall (Kayla Baker); Katie Hall; his great grandchildren Hunter, Carlee, Timothy, Adam, Ashton, Alex, Kyliee, James Jr, and Jazzy; and his two best friends Ken (Linda) Brooks and Richard (Lou) Jara.

Funeral services will be at Faith Chapel North in Cantonment, FL on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
