Lynn passed on Jan 6, 2020, proceeded by her husband Lawrence. She grew up in ND with parents John and Margery Nelson. She is survived by brother Jim, stepchildren, Oscar (Becky), Tom (Stephanie), Louie, Deb, and grandchildren Thom, Alyssa, Angie, Matt and Nick. Lynn earned a BA from Jamestown College and MA from Denver University before joining the Immigration and Naturalization Service where she had a distinguished 26 year career. She endowed a scholarship at Jamestown College for Native American students in honor of her parents. A true lover of the Arts and an activist on behalf of animals. She donated a large amount of time in volunteer efforts for the community. Services and Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a time to be determined. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary.
