Robert Clay Merrick

Robert Merrick, 43, died on March 23, 2023, at his home in Fargo. He was born May 30, 1979, in Grand Forks, ND. Robert was adopted along with his twin brother, and the family moved to Jamestown in 1983.

Robert graduated from Jamestown High School in 1999. He spent his years after high school in North Dakota, settling in Fargo. Robert loved the fire department and spent time volunteering at the Fargo Fire Department, Station 1. He loved attending stock car races, bowling, and the rodeo. He also participated in Special Olympics activities.

He is survived by his parents, Tom and Pam (Meidinger) Merrick of Buffalo, MN, his brother, Rodger of Fargo, and his sister, Amanda (Merrick) Hough and Adam and their two daughters, Mila and Nola, of Elk River, MN. His is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 30th, from 1pm to 2pm, and the funeral will directly follow at 2pm, at Boulger Funeral Home, 123 10th Street, Fargo, ND 58103.
