The Jamestown Sun hands out these bravos this week:
* Bravo to Logan Krapp, Medina Public School graduate who had perfect attendance in grades 9-12.
* Bravo to the North Dakota Patriot Guard for honoring three local servicemen who died in service to their country with a statue. The Patriot Guard unveiled the Fallen Heroes Memorial outside of the Jamestown Civic Center in a ceremony on June 19. The battle cross statue honors U.S. Army Spc. Paul Beyer, North Dakota Army National Guard Spc. Philip Brown and Army Reserve Maj. Alan Johnson.
* Bravo to the Stutsman County Weed Board for hosting a field day that gave local residents an opportunity to gather flea beetles, the principal control method for leafy spurge, for transplant to their own property. Leafy spurge is listed as one of North Dakota’s 11 noxious weeds, and state law requires property owners to make all reasonable efforts to control noxious weeds on their own property.
