The Jamestown Sun hands out these bravos this week:

* Bravo to the LaMoure Loboes volleyball team for winning the Class B state tournament championship in Fargo. The Loboes repeated as Class B state champions.

* Bravo to the final beam being placed on the Two Rivers Activity Center, a $28 million facility that will have an aquatics center, multi-use courts, fitness equipment, turf field, classrooms and child care center. The next big step in the construction of TRAC is getting the building enclosed and finishing the roof.

* Bravo to the six businesses and one organization for collecting and donating items to the Community Action Region VI food pantry and the Salvation Army food pantry in Jamestown. Newman Signs, Cargill, Cavendish Farms, RealTruck.com, UTC Aerospace Systems, Agri-Cover and Jamestown Regional Medical Center held a friendly competition and raised a total of 17,833 items to donate to the food pantries.

* Bravo to organizers and volunteers of the 26th annual Community Thanksgiving Day Dinner held at Concordia Lutheran Church. Volunteers served a record 675 meals, which included 335 at the church and 340 delivered or carry-out meals.

* Bravo to Jamestown Regional Airport for reaching 10,000 passengers in 2016. Reaching this goal means the airport will receive $1 million in entitlement funding from the Federal Aviation Administration instead of the current $150,000 it receives. The airport will receive the increased funding beginning in 2018.
