Maybe it's my age, but I doubt it.
(Full disclosure. This year marks the honoring of Sammy Hagar's hit song, “I can't drive 55”.)
I find that reading events in a local newspaper’s print edition and website not only informs the reader of the current events but, more importantly, provides an archive for future generations from a credible source with historical value.
When we look at past celebrations or life's events, we can thank that special someone in the family who took the time to write up that milestone, get a photo, and drive to the local newspaper to have it printed for the next upcoming edition.

Today that concept is completed through our services called “Modulist.”
Modulist is a media service company that specializes in the process of user-generated paid content for any media type, regardless of size, frequency or distribution platform.
Categories include in Modulist: Obituaries, death notices, business announcements, paid letters to the editor, birthdays, weddings, engagements, retirements, birth announcements and an “other” announcements category that could be used for things like graduation announcements.
The overall process is very user friendly. Simply log on to The Jamestown Sun website, click on more; on the toolbar, scroll down till you see milestones, then click on “place a milestone.”
By doing this, you will be able to design and proof the ad from your computer.
Your message will not only hit the audience today but, more importantly, as someone is scrolling 10, 20, 30 years down the road that message today will be a historical piece of information for others to enjoy.
