Bravo to displaying flags again

The Jamestown Sun hands out these bravos this week:

*Bravo to volunteers at Noridian Healthcare Solutions for acting as crossing guards in the area of Lincoln Elementary School. Heavy traffic in the area of Fourth Avenue and Fourth Street Northeast and a girl being struck by a truck while crossing the intersection on Nov. 9 prompted the employees to volunteer for the task.

*Bravo to Julia Bushard, the new year's baby of 2019 in Jamestown. Julia was born on Jan. 1 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center and is the daughter of Brianna Rosewaren and Jaydenle Bushard of Kulm, N.D.

*Bravo to Madison Schmidt, a third-grader at Roosevelt Elementary School, who held a drive at the school to collect student donations of items for dogs at the James River Humane Society.

*Bravo to Gov. Doug Burgum for again displaying the flags of the state's five tribal nations at his office.
