As a graduate from the Jamestown Public Schools, a professor of higher education, and someone who believes that leaders are only effective when they enter all situations with an open mind, work hard for the common good and back up their words with actions, I must say I am severely disappointed and embarrassed by the complete lack of leadership by the Jamestown School Board president. As an elected official of the school board, who is paid by taxpayers’ dollars, Jamestown Public Schools system needs someone who displays exceptional leadership, works for the common good of everyone and is a role model to the very individuals we all work for, the students.

I’ll put that on my to do list.
Now I must go to negotiations.”
