This is still America, the land of the free and the home of the brave. Why are so many products that we need in an “emergency” made in China? Medical supplies and so on. Seems like we're dependent on an adversary. Doesn't sound very encouraging to me. You know we live in trying times, the world we live in has changed so much. We live in what you might call an affluent society today, self-sufficient, prosperous, etc. You know, there was a time when we had time to go to church, the churches were pretty much filled, there were TV evangelists, the Rev. Billy Graham comes to mind among many others. These days people are more or less seekers of pleasure than anything spiritual.

The political climate has become so toxic and divided. “Abortion” has become a self-explanatory term under the umbrella of “planned parenthood”. Here is the amazing reality: People who support this legalized “debauchery” are real people that are already “born” and presumably enjoying real life.

I'm so thankful to have been born in this country, and that my parents were Bible-believing and God-fearing and took us to church, and our families are doing likewise.

From a biblical perspective what the government has legalized is a far cry as to what the Bible teaches. I think this is still a Christian nation but we may all have to do some soul searching.

This pandemic we are experiencing might be for a wake-up call from our Maker. Some are going to say that I blame God for this virus. On the contrary. But I think he could allow it. As for me, I believe in a higher power. I don't believe in evolution. And I would advocate we don't get too excited about what we should do about this scenario we are all faced with. Stay away from people, wash your hands as they tell us to do, and it won't hurt us to pray. Just responding to a “premonition."

I'm going to offer some biblical advice from the good book we all can adhere to, its found in 2 Chronicles Chapter 7 verse 14 in the King James Version of the Bible.

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and will turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will hear their land." Then back to the virus, say it might be “divinely inspired,” I don't know, but this one thing I know, it has gotten the whole nation's attention. May God Bless America again.
