Due to the COVID-19 issues going on right now, Disabled American Veterans Chapter # 31 has decided to suspend our flag program for this year. We deeply regret having to do this and I have notified our 85 businesses where we place flags and who make a donation for our services that we would be doing this. Since many of our volunteers who put up the flags are in the “vulnerable” category, we opted on the side of safety and did not want to risk getting any of our valued veterans sick. We hope you understand our situation and hopefully if things improve we may be able to do something on Independence Day for our community. Have an enjoyable Memorial Day weekend and remember our fallen veterans.
