The Jamestown Icehawks Squirt White team earned the consolation championship at the River Lake Stars Hockey Tournament in Richmond, Minn., over the weekend.

The Icehawks opened the tourney with 5-4 shootout loss to the MAML Squirts. Aaron Grounds and Phillip Parisien each scored two goals for Jamestown, while Parker Stockert and Cole Lind picked up assists. Goalie Cohl Hatch made 20 saves for the Icehawks.

Jamestown bounced back to take down the River Lake Squirts 6-3 in consolation play. Parisien posted four goals against River Lake, while Grounds and Cole Burkle each notched goals. Assists were handed out to Jade Schafer and Hunter Beckman. Hatch earned 11 saves.

Jamestown kept the momentum rolling with a 4-1 win over Valley City in the fifth-place matchup.

Devin Hofmann scored two goals for the Icehawks, while Dylan Myers and Parisien also scored. Jade Schafer, Parisien and Burkle scored assists in the game, with Hatch earning 20 saves.
