"Matt and Aaron raced hard in a field that was top heavy," said UJ cross country coach Jim Clark. "Dustin Wagner (16th) ran a good race. We faded after a good early pach through the rest of our guys."

Senior Allison Foster placed sixth in the 5K women's race for the Jimmies, posting a time of 21:06.4. Freshman Helen Rose Murphy, who placed 10th of 36 runners (21:47.2), was the only other Jimmie competing on the women's side.

"Though neither impressed with their time, Allie and Helen competed hard and a top 10 place out of 36 is not bad," Clark said. "Good meet to put behind us and prepare for the long haul. We have a lot of improving to do."
