Blue Jays boys soccer
The Blue Jays boys soccer team was looking for their third win of the season Thursday evening as the team faced off against Bismarck High.
Unfortunately, the Jays could not pull out the win falling 1-4 to the Demons.
The Jays took five shots on the goal, recorded 14 saves and four corner kicks during Thursday's match. Bismarck countered with 19 shots and nine corner kicks during the game.
Head coach Mark Sherfy and his squad will be back in action on Tuesday, Aug. 27 at 7:30 p.m. in Mandan.

UJ womens soccer
The University of Jamestown women's soccer team faced off against Central Methodist University coming away with a 1-2 loss against the Eagles Thursday night.
In the 14th minute of the first period, CMU's Anika Kallash scored the first goal of the match with an assist from Andrea Villar. The Eagles took 16 shots total and 11 on the goal. Kallash led CMU in shots recording 6. The Eagles extended their lead thanks to Judith Sainz's penalty kick late in the second period.
Kristin Breaux took the Jimmies first shot of the game in the eighth minute of the second period but the Jimmies remained scoreless until Brianna Perry found the back of the net with help from Ryley Bedard on the assist. Unfortunately, it was too little too late and UJ fell 2-1 recording their second loss of the season.
The Jimmies will be back in action on Monday, Aug. 26 against MSU-Moorhead. Competition is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
