Ellendale couldn’t quite keep pace with Kidder County Tuesday night.

The Cardinals fell 52-45 to the Wolves. Kidder County was headed up by Payton Cauthon with 13 at the hoop and Elijah Fallgater with 12. Jonah Harter rounded out the top 3 scorers with 11.

Scott Wagner led the Cardinals at 24 and Hunter Thorpe with 10. Thorpe shot for two of the team’s 3-pointers.

Carter Renz drained eight 3-pointers to help Linton/HMB to a 24 point win over New Salem-Almont Tuesday night. The Lions defeated New Salem-Almont 74-50.

Renz led the team with 27 points while Lucas Schumacher tacked on 19. The team shot for 28 field goals -- 10 of which came from beyond the arc.

New Salem-Almont’s Logan Becker shot for 15 points and Tayden Soupir chipped 11. The squad was a perfect 3 of 3 from the foul line and shot for 16 buckets between the circles.
