UJ coach Nienhaus battling COVID
A GoFundMe page has been established for University of Jamestown men's soccer coach Tommy Nienhaus, who is currently battling COVID-19 and is on a ventilator in a Fargo hospital.

Nienhaus was placed in the ICU last week at Jamestown Regional Medical Center and was life-flighted to Fargo over the weekend. Nienhaus and his wife, Cathy, have two children.
The UJ men's soccer team (5-6) is scheduled to finish the Great Plains Athletic Conference regular season tomorrow (Nov. 21) hosting Northwestern College (9-3) at the Jimmie Turf Field beginning at 3:30 p.m.
Optimist Club honors athletes
Hunter Peterson, Jackie Meiklejohn and Ruben Zepeda have been selected Jamestown Optimist Club Athletes of the Week.
Peterson, a junior on the Blue Jay volleyball team, posted 21 kills, eight digs, five blocks and two assists during last week's three West Region tournament matches.
Meiklejohn, a junior on the Jimmie women's volleyball team from Dickey, North Dakota, recorded a pair of double-doubles in helping the University of Jamestown win the Great Plains Athletic Conference season championship with wins over Morningside and Northwestern.
Meiklejohn scored a combined 55 assists and 26 digs over the pair of match victories.
Zepeda, a senior on the Jimmie men's soccer team from Puebla, Mexico, set a University of Jamestown record last Wednesday scoring five goals in UJ's 11-2 win over visiting Presentation College (S.D.) at the Jimmie Turf Field.
