Gage Orr and Max Fronk served up a pretty convincing win at the No. 1 doubles spot Tuesday afternoon at Bollinger Courts, but unfortunately for the Blue Jays, the win came after a Valley City sweep in singles.

Orr and Fronk's 6-3, 6-2 win over Valley City's Alex Roselstad and Emmett Olson was the Jays' only win of the non-conference dual. The Hi-Liners topped the Jays' 4-1.

Head coach John Ness the Blue Jay squad are slated to travel east on Friday to take on Grand Forks Central and Grand Forks Red River. The dual against Red River is scheduled to begin at noon with Central to follow at 3:30 p.m.

Grace LeFevre and Isabel LeFevre finished out the 18-holes at 126 and 132. Collectively, the Blue Jays ended the round with a 455. Jamestown placed ninth out of 10 teams.
