The annual Phil Brown Classic baseball tournament is set for July 10-12 at Jack Brown Stadium.
The Jamestown Eagles will be joined by teams from LaMoure, Dickinson, Gillette (Wyoming), Fergus Falls (Minnesota) and Thief River Falls (Minnesota) in the six-team tournament. Pool play begins Friday, July 10, with quarterfinal and semifinal games to follow on Saturday.
Sunday's action begins with the fifth-place game at 10 a.m., followed by the third-place game (noon) and the championship (2 p.m.) All games will be seven innings with a run rule of 15 after three innings, 10 after four and eight after five.
The Classic's skills competition begins Saturday at 2:30 p.m. One player from each team will compete in a home run derby, a baserunning competition and a throwing accuracy competition.
