A six-run fourth lifted LaMoure/Litchville-Marion baseball out of an early 3-1 deficit on Monday in Oakes.

The Loboes batted around against the Tornadoes, flipping a two-run Oakes lead into a 7-3 final score in favor of visiting LLM.

Connor Johnson picked up the victory on the mound and batted 4-for-5 at the plate for the Loboes. The sophomore allowed three hits and three runs with a pair of strikeouts over four innings of work while driving in two runs and scoring two offensively. Dalton Madcke (2-for-5) also put up a multi-hit game for the Loboes, clubbing a double and stealing a base.

The Loboes improved to 3-0 overall and are scheduled to play at Sheyenne/New Rockford today (April 20) at 4:30 p.m. LLM is scheduled to play Park River/Fordville-Lankin at 12:30 p.m. this Friday in New Rockford, with a game against Northern Lights to follow at 4:30 p.m.

Oakes dropped to 3-1 overall and has Northern Cass on the schedule today (April 20) on the road.
