Along with receiving three first-place votes, Medina-Pingree-Buchanan edged LaMoure-Litchville-Marion by one point for second place in this week's North Dakota Class B girls basketball rankings.
Langdon-Edmore-Munich dropped from second to fifth after Saturday's 30-point loss to M-P-B on in Langdon. Edgeley-Kulm-Montpelier moved up one spot to fourth.
Carrington is receiving votes in the latest boys poll.

E-K-M's Hanson hits milestone
Lane Hanson scored his 1,000th career point in Class B boys basketball last Friday night for Edgeley-Kulm-Montpelier.
The senior forward needed 32 points to reach the milestone, and he scored exactly 32 in helping the Rebels top the Oakes Tornadoes 71-52 in Oakes.
