Attempts to steal fuel from Mexican pipeline set off massive fireball, killing at least 66

JHS boys remain second in Class A rankings

Jamestown High School picked up a couple more first-place votes in the sixth Class B statewide media rankings released Wednesday, Jan. 9, but still trail Fargo Davies by 9 points for the top spot.

The Blue Jays (9-0) handled Mandan 70-53 on the road Tuesday and will host Watford City (1-8) and Bismarck Century (5-4) this Friday and Saturday, respectively, at Jamestown High School's Jerry Merry Arena. Jamestown received four of 19 first-place votes from the state's media members, up two from the fifth poll released last week.

Davies (9-0) received the remaining 15 first-place votes. The Eagles host West Fargo (5-2) on Thursday, Jan. 10, after topping No. 3 West Fargo Sheyenne (8-1) 77-62 on Jan. 4.

The polls are voted on by members of the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association.
