Class B roundup: Loboes advance to Barnes Co. title game

Jamison Kramer's 24 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks keyed LaMoure-Litchville-Marion to victory Thursday, Jan. 10, in the semifinals of the Barnes County boys basketball tournament in Valley City.

L-L-M (5-3) rolled past Milnor-North Sargent 68-49 and will play Enderlin (7-2) in Saturday's championship game at 6:30 p.m. at Valley City State University's W.E. Osmon Fieldhouse.

The Loboes outrebounded the Bulldogs 39-19 and shot over 50 percent (29 of 54) from the field. Kramer dropped in a trio of 3-pointers, while Shay Ness (15) and Alex Klever (10) also reached double figures in scoring.

Enderlin received four 3-pointers and 21 points from its 6-foot-9 freshman Joe Hurlburt in a 66-54 semifinal victory over Griggs County Central. Hurlburt's twin brother, Gus, posted a double-double of 15 points and 11 boards. Milnor-NS and GCC will play for third place on Saturday at 3 p.m.

Barnes County North and Maple Valley earned consolation-round victories and will play for fifth at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. The final day of play will begin at noon with F-S-H-P playing Sargent Central for seventh.
