Talley's double-double leads Jimmies over Tigers

Jack Talley recorded a double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds for the University of Jamestown men's basketball team as the Jimmies defeated Doane University 75-72 at the Haddix Center in Crete, Neb.

Kevin Oberweiser gave the Jimmies the lead for good at 35-32 after a 3-pointer with 2:12 remaining in the first half. Jamestown led by as many as 14 throughout the contest, but Doane trimmed the deficit to 68-67 with 2:44 remaining in the second frame.

Jamestown finished 27 of 59 (46 percent) from the field, including 10 of 26 from 3-point land.

The Jimmies travel to University of Minnesota-Crookston on Monday.
